Problem in rotating mesh, please help!

Dear Foamers,
I met a tough problem recently. I have a pipe flow case for which streamwise direction is +Z. I wanted to make the axis of the pipe in +X direction so I rotated the mesh by Code:
rotateMesh -constant '(0 0 1)' '(1 0 0)' After the rotation, I continued the simulation and compared the results with the original one (+Z direction). For velocity field, the values are more or less the same, however, the pressure field went completely wrong. Attached are pressure field for the original one and the rotated one. I checked the coordinates and direction of velocity components, things seemed all right. By the way, I use cyclic boundary condition for my pipe flow. Can anybody give me advice on why the pressure is wrong (is pressure field related to the rotation)? Please help. Thank you very much. Tony |
