FYI: I just looked through the last changes in the OpenFOAM 2.3.x github log, and realised that they apparently changed the default path of the blockMeshDict to the systems directory ( https://github.com/OpenFOAM/OpenFOAM...f7aeb78a819472 ).
The old path will still work, however. Is there a certain reason to that change? Anyway, I actually just wanted to change this in the Wiki ( http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/BlockMesh ), but don't have an Account (yet?). So whoever has, might note this there.

Hi,
yes that's true and makes also sense in my opinion. This way it's easier to change meshes by replacing the constant/polyMesh folder without loosing the blockMeshDict file (this happened way to many times to me...). It is now a regular setup file - just the way snappyHexMeshDict has always been. Cutter |
