Dear all,
I am trying to mesh a varying cross-section (de Laval) nozzle using blockMesh but the circular arcs are not properly scaled along the length of the nozzle. This problem has been raised and discussed here: http://www.openfoam.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=1396 I am not too sure if there has been a fix already but in any case, I would like to know how blockMesh works. In particular, I want to understand the code in 'src/mesh/blockMesh/block/blockCreate.C'. I have tried to search for relevant papers but no success. So, if you know the maths involved, please point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance! PS: I have already posted this question in http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...blockmesh.html but I'm starting this new thread to reach more people. |
