BlockMesh Graphic Interface! Yes or No?
Good Morning,
I want to start a discussion about the possibility of building a graphic interface for blockMesh I'm a BlockMesh user and i'm a starting to think of programming a graphic interface for BlockMesh, because i think some passages to build a mesh are very boring and need large mental efforts. Mainly i'm refferring to generation of blocks and definition of faces by considering the vertices in a clockwise sense. I think these operations are very difficult for mesh characterized by a large number of blocks, because it needs to remember exactly the order of the vertices. So why do not simplify these operations with a simple graphic interface? I would be very happy to know your opinion about this argument! Thanks :D Sorry for my terrible english! Thanks :D |

I didn't know SwiftBlock and SwiftSnap till now, and looking at the images they are similar to that i have in mind. In the next days i surely will test both the programs. It seems someone else had worked to the same idea before me :D Best Regards, Roberto |
Quick note: There is a list already at the wiki: http://openfoamwiki.net/index.php/Bl..._blockMeshDict
The wiki page is pointed out at the sticky thread shown at the top of this blockMesh forum: About blockMesh |
