Hello everyone,

I'm trying to install OpenFoam 1.6 on Ubuntu 9.10 64 Bit.
I've followed the canonical procedure to install it...
I was put to the task of testing out the install and tried to do the first tutorial, Lid-Driven Cavity Flow. For whatever reason, when I run the command blockMesh (yes, I've made sure that I type it in as blockMesh), I get "-bash: blockMesh: command not found."

I don't really have a clue as to what is going on with it (other than that it either wasn't made or isn't linked correctly): any help would be appreciated.

Thanks a lot,

Giancarlo

Did you add the appropriate lines to your .bashrc file?

Strange ...

Did you even source the .bashrc afterwards (restart the terminal)?
Any messages when opening a new terminal?
