2-D axisymmetric Problem

Hello Guys !

I´m absolutly new at using OpenFoam and also Linux , so I´m sorry If I´m going to ask dumb questions :-) .

I´m trying to Simulate a flow around a spherical particle , but I have some problems using the blockMeshDict to Create a 2-D axisymmetric geometry.
I already created the wedge, and tried to get the "hole" inside the geometry with the edge command, but it dont seems to work. I just created two Verticles and tried to get them connected with edge, but after blockMeshing I dont see the edge in paraFoam.

Can anybody help me or give me some advice to find a solution for my problem ?

Thanks alot !

Lesh

paraFoam shows you blocks and edges which are parts of blocks. If the edge is free, you wouldn't see it.

For more details - show your blockMeshDict file
