I am Alessandro and I am a beginner in OpenFOAM...

is possible to do tetrahedral or polyedral mesh using blockmesh??

is possible to do a prism layer using blockmesh??

OpenFOAM blockmesh does only hexahedral mesh??


I try but without good results... :(

hi alessandro,
there are 6 cell shape with openfoam. look this in chapter 5.1.3
http://www.openfoam.org/docs/user/me...23-1350005.1.3
each shape has own keyword to specify in blockMesh.
