Hi,
i am searching the source of OF for the formulas, checkMesh uses, to compute e.g. the non-orthogonality or the aspect ratios... but i can't find anything... can someone please tell me where this code-fragments can be found? thanks! ps: i'm not shure, if this topic better fits in the programming-forum |

Hi,
Take a look into /applications/utilities/mesh/manipulation/checkMesh folder and the file checkGeometry.C has the information you are looking for I suppose. You could look at Joel Guerrero's site for his course material on meshing for the actual formulas and the explanations on http://www.dicat.unige.it/guerrero/ in his introductory course to openFoam. hope this helps. cheers. |
