Here is a series of videos for newbies to Gmsh, an awesome script-based meshing tool:

Part 0: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wv7IUUWGIQo
Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8nGNZk71fw
Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C_sCHpLaz3Y
Part 3: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OetMSO3avrQ

I did make these, so if you have any suggestions or ideas for tutorials please let me know! Thanks.

Hi, thanks a lot for the nice videos.

Two questions:

What highlighting style are you using for gedit?
As mine does not hight light words such as: point line and so on. Which could be very useful.

And are you using the colour setting by yourself or you have loaded some specific profile?

Hi Zech,

The editing program I use is actually not gedit, but Sublime. I personally like Sublime a lot better. It is free to use!

I always use the default highlighting schemes, since they are good enough for me. Sublime doesn't automatically recognize '.geo' files so I set the highlighting scheme to 'C'. ('View' -> 'Syntax' -> 'Open all with current extension as...' -> 'C')
