Can you tell me how to create group for compund Mesh in salome

Hi Harshawardhan,
For the context here, please elaborate more about "Compound Mesh"? If it means Mesh in Multiple Bodies, then i generally do the following things for a 2D mesh.
1. Partition a geometry into two parts (or more if needed)
Step:

Geometry -->> Operations -->> Partition

This will lead into a resulting Geometry, namely Partition 1.

2. Explode Partition 1 into (a) Faces and (b) Edges
Step:

Geometry -->> New Entity -->> Explode

The exploded parts of the partitions are the entities that can be used as the components of multiple meshes (multiple bodies).

3. After meshing and computing mesh, create Mesh Group.
Step:

Mesh -->> Create Group

(Here, the exploded parts of the partition 1 can be chosen)

4. Export Mesh in the required format.
Step:

Mesh -->> Export

(In the exported file format, the name of the mesh groups will be used for further reference)


Note: Geometry and Mesh above mean the "Geometry" and "Mesh" modules of Salome Software.
