Dear OpenFOAMers,
I used ANSYS Workbench V14. The fluid domain was sliced into 3 pieces, then, "formed a new part". Then, I used cutCell method to mesh the domain, exported to fluent format. Then, I used fluent3DMeshToFoam to convert the mesh to OpenFOAM format. Then, I used mergeOrSplitBaffles to merge some faces due to slicing in Workbench. When I did checkMesh, I got: Checking geometry... Overall domain bounding box (-0.0665 0 -2.22045e-19) (0.0125 0.00912567 0.104) Mesh (non-empty, non-wedge) directions (1 1 1) Mesh (non-empty) directions (1 1 1) Boundary openness (-2.91342e-10 5.64332e-11 -4.06066e-09) OK. ***Open cells found, max cell openness: 4.45478e-05, number of open cells 74 <<Writing 74 non closed cells to set nonClosedCells Minumum face area = 3.61057e-08. Failed 1 mesh checks. --------------------------------------------- I am wondering if anyone experienced the same issue? And, is there a solution to this problem? Thanks! Pei-Ying |
