Hi, I am really new to OpanFoam and I am struggling to find any information on how to convert a mesh from ASCII CAD to foam.
I have my mesh as a ASCII CAD file in three different formats (.stp, .sat, .jgs) and need to convert it to foam in order to run my simulation on it. I also found a link on mesh conversion in openfoam: http://www.openfoam.org/features/mesh-conversion.php however I did not manage to run those converters on any of my files. Will appreciate any help. Thanx in advance |

CAD is not a mesh format. Either you export STL, or you use a mesher that can import CAD data, such as Salome, ANSA, Pointwise, ...
