Converting Gambit Neutral Meshes

Hi, everyone.

I had to convert a gambit-mesh to FoamX.
It worked. Now, I have to set boundary conditions.
The Question is : what does it mean "startFace"
and "nFaces" ?

Thanks,
Paul

Hi Paul,
"starFace" is the first face of your boundary condition and "nFaces" is the number of faces
of the same boundary contidion. You can read them in the file "faces".

Hi Paul

I use this procedure in gambit:
- create mesh
- change solver to "generic"
- create patches with differents name (wall, inlet, ...) and the same type: "ELEMENT_SIDE"
- use gambitToMesh to convert mesh
- In FoamX define the patch types
