i have a pretty simple mesh, it's basically 2 2D blocks, and looks like ...

length(a) = length(b) + length(c)

there's a bit more to the geometry but that's the idea. all of the external faces are defined in one patch, and i leave the 3 internal faces alone (ignored from the patches list). blockmesh, so i'm told, should identify these and create a single internal face. it does not, i simply get,
