Hi guys,

I hope this is the right category. This is my first post in this forum, but hopefully you can help me with that problem.

I created a mesh with gmsh which follows a hyperbolic-tangent-function in two directions and in the third directions a equidistant meshing (see file attached).

If I mesh it in Gmsh everything works fine. However, importing the mesh to OpenFoam some errors which I do not get.
Firstly, I tried to import the mesh with the actual number of nodes, where the gmsh crashed when generating the mesh in 3D.

Then, I reduced the nodes and I got this error:

Quote:
From OpenFoam:

...

Skipping tag at line 3709
Patch 0 gets name ColdWall
Patch 1 gets name Top
Patch 2 gets name HotWall
Patch 3 gets name Bottom
Patch 4 gets name Front
Patch 5 gets name Back

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I would be pleased about any help thanks a lot!
