Hello!

If I wanted to mesh an impeller that is very small and use wall functions on that mesh, the solver would explode because I can't provide boundary layer thickness of 30y+ or more.

I can dump wall functions altogether and model flow near the wall but then it seems impossible to connect rotating and stationary parts of the mesh with AMI/ACMI because cells near the wall get thin enough to cause trouble with neighboring patches.

Any ideas how to deal with this or at least where to start?

Thanks!
