Accidentally posted this in the wrong section.
Hi all. I am trying to get an aerofoil meshes for use in OpenFoam. However, as the thickness of my aerofoils decrease, the program seems to be struggling to follow the contours of my aerofoil. After about 4 refinements (by splitting), my first aerofoil had a reasonable mesh but my next one seems to be still very rough. IS there are way to solve this? Here is a picture of the mesh at the front of the aerofoil. http://db.tt/R6rI7hsS and here is the .geo file. http://db.tt/Z9VIqOzk Thanks |

Never mind, I looked around and found out about characteristic lengths! Is there such thing as a complete Gmesh tutorial that covers every aspect of the programme (with videos ) or do I need to go on an expensive course to find out all the secrets of Gmesh?
