There is a great tutorial that explains the switches for SHM

Hi Elvis,

Thanks, I had forgotten to update the link to the new location! It's now fixed:

I'll keep the existing copy of the presentation present at, just in case has yet another one of those crazy net-outages...

Best regards,

Hello Bruno,

thanks a lot for your awesome contributions,
maybe it is worth to add Alejandro Roger Ullīs final project as another tutorial for the Generate 2D meshes section of the wiki page

Hi Elvis,

How could I have forgotten that tutorial!! Done! I've added to the wiki.

But you could have added yourself, since the wiki is open! ;)

Best regards,

Hi, I reuse this topic because my question may be related to the topic.

I have to perform a CFD analysis of an internal flow with OF. I receive a CAD model of the (external) pipe geometry.

My question is: should I use the geometry of the fluid domain or the geometry of the "external" pipe to mesh it in blockMesh+SHMesh?
