Hi users,
I need to simulate turbulent flow at Re 1 M in OpenFOAM. I have generated the mesh in gmsh and choose the Spalart-Allmaras model; the data that have used are: Freestream velocity U = 1m/s density air rho = 1 kg/m3 chord c = 1m viscosity nu = 1.e-06 m2/s For the turbulent model I have used a viscosity ratio (nut/nu =0.1) and nutilda = 5*nut. I have set y+ = 1 and calculated the corresponding y through correlations with the Reynolds number. The problem is that the simulation doesn't converge and also I obtain always a message: bounding nuTilda (with negative value) In your opinion my mesh is okay? If yes, how I can solve this problem?? Thank you all very much !!! |
