Hello, I am now doing some simulation on train aerodynamics. The geomety of the train is very complex, and i have to specify the train boggie section, head coach. middle coach and end coach separately. I wonder how can I specify them and how can I transfer the geomety into stl fomate.

Hi Joanna,

consider using Blender for your stl-generation.
Then you could also use the swiftSnap tool.

Which format do you have right now?

It is possible to define different mesh zones. You could generate the different meshes separately and then stitch them together. However, there are plenty of other possibilites and programs.
