Since I hate having to repeat myself and since this is a curious question, I though it was best to post it publicly. The question that was made to me was this:

This sounds like a multi-region case. The easiest is to study the tutorial "heatTransfer/chtMultiRegionFoam/snappyMultiRegionHeater" which is one of the best tutorial cases in OpenFOAM for this kind of case.

The only problem might be that I vaguely remember that OpenFOAM 2.3.0 might have a bug regarding not using STL files, therefore it's necessary to build from source code OpenFOAM 2.3.x. The bug report in question is this one: http://www.openfoam.org/mantisbt/view.php?id=1303


edit: By the way, swak4Foam provides a way to have complex mathematical shapes as searchable regions in snappyHexMesh... let me see if I can find something about it... Ah, here you go: http://openfoamwiki.net/images/6/6d/...ining_OFW8.pdf - start reading from the slide #93

Try following strategy to form pipe Tee by blockMesh. I think its the easiest way........

If you make blocks in this way you can get mesh for Tee with blockMesh easily.

With fillet at the T joint section are you able to create mesh because I am not able to do it if possible please let me know...? and which software you use for meshing..?
