lowis5 is on a distinguished road
Hi,
I have a little CFD experience and I'm trying to use openFOAM to determine the drag coefficient for a few shapes. I know that eventually I must use a turbulence model, but for now I've managed to run a preliminary transient simulation using icoFOam. However, the Courant number blows up unless I use dt=0.0001 or close to that. I suspect that my mesh may be the problem since I go this warning from checkMesh:
***Max skewness = 4.68373, 1 highly skew faces detected which may impair the quality of the results
Could someone please take a look at my setup and recommend better parameter values for the snappyHexMeshDict? I'm attaching the required files in SnappyFiles.zip and a sketch of the physical domain in Domain.zip
Thanks so much,

Lowis5
