Hi,
I actually work with snappyHexMesh. The mesh generation works fine but afterwards I would like to merge some patches. I do this with createPatch (construct from patches) and createPatch merges the patches in “boundary” but not in the cellLevel and pointLevel files. This causes some issues when I try to start the case. Any idea how the patches can be merged easily in these two files (cellLevel/pointLevel) according to the merged patches in the boundary-definition? Thanks in advance Ulrich |

Hi,
you could try the utility in OpenFOAM-1.4 called 'patchTool'. It's a GUI utility which, as the name suggests, can create/merge/manipulate patches/and more. Philip |
