mesh withoutpolycells possible?

I've a mesh out of another program that contains only tets, pyramids, prisms and hex cells. During the layer creation process SHM makes some optimization of the surface and within this step polycells are created. Is there any option to avoid getting polycells or has somebody a workaround. Using another tool for creating the boundary layers may be an option as well. (I want to reimport the mesh to ANSA but ANSA unfortunately doesn't support polycells). Thanks & best Regards, Peter

Hi Peter,

Can you please tell me what you want to achieve?
I understand you already have a volume mesh, so what
do you want to do in SHM?

Hi Peter,
Have you found a solution to your issue? I also would like to avoid those cells in the layer.
Thanks, Eloïse

Just want to mention that you can indeed read in ANSA a polyhedral mesh created in SHM without a problem
