Default Simple stadium using searchableCylinder

I'm trying to reproduce the big wave example from the advanced tutorials. But instead of the dome I want a hollowed cylinder. How do I punch a hole in the cylinder? See attached image...

Hi..

I hope you solved the problem... But i am also in this position now..

I think you cannot remove material. i used subset.Setset to remove the material. which is working.
but if you think there is an option in SHMD itself. Kindly share with me..

I think you can solve the problem by creating a blockMesh which has the hole. Any part outside the mesh will be removed, so technically the region inside the cylindrical hole should also be removed. This is as per my understanding of SHM.
