I have seen this problem asked a number of times, but there seems to be no satisfactory answer that I can find. (Perhaps this is because it doesn't exist).
I would like to use my snappy generated meshes with interDyMFoam, but the presence of polyhedra within the mesh prevents the dynamic refinement by the hexRef8 code. So, is there any way to force sHM to produce meshes that contain only hexahedra for use with the dynamic solvers? I have looked through the snappyHexMeshDict, but there is nothing obvious. Is there something I am missing? Cheers, R |
