Hi

I'm trying to use snappyHexMesh on a simple yacht geometry but I'm having a couple of issues.

1) There seem to be single closed cell artefacts on the outside of the added boundary layers.
2) The boundary layers do not always cover the entire geometry.

(see attached file)

I've played with as many of the snappyHexMeshDict settings as I can and have improved the situation by changing featureAngle to 180 and changing the layers to absolute rather than relative.

If anyone has any advise then please let me know,

Regards,

Mark

P.S. I've just seen the snapEdge tool which might solve other issue.
