Hi Foamers,
i want to generate layers in a small gap (1mm). Here are my settings, with those i can see some layers: blockMesh ( hex (0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7) (30 30 20) simpleGrading (1 1 1) // In z direction, i have to define 20 cells. With more or less cells, i can not see any layers. ); snappyDict: rau1mmzu { // Surface-wise min and max refinement level level (2 2); //levels 2 3, 3 4... are not possible. } refinementBox { mode inside; levels ((1E15 1)); //level 2, 3... is not possible. } As u can see in the picture, the mesh is not fine enough. The surface of the rough stl is also not satisfactory. I changed the layer thickness to false and defined the thickness (min and average) manually to the smallest size (without improvement) Mabye someone is experienced in meshing a micrometer region, or have an idea. Tomorrow, i will post my complete snappyDict. Thanks |
