marico Member Marco Müller Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Germany Posts: 94 Rep Power: 17	Hi, I'm trying to simulate the drag of a cylinder in 2D. For generating the mesh in 2D (pictures), I use different grading/number of cells for the "interface" of the blocks. So "patch matching" will not work with this. However, if I use excactly the same grading/number of cells on both sides it still does not work. The internal boundaries arent removed as they are e. g. in cavityClipped tutorial. Another way would be mergePatches, but as I read in other posts that doesnt seem to be trivial for my case?! How can I deal with that problem??? Thank You Marco grid1.jpg grid2.jpg
