SnappyHexMesh No change of the number of cells
 

Hallo everybody,

I have a problem; I want to solve a streaming about a car with the k epsilon model. At first I run the motorbike tutorial on icoFoam, and used the data as starting condition for the k epsilon model. This worked well.

I draw a car and wanted to do the same, blockmesh, snappyHexMesh run. But after this the icoFoam calculate only the 1000 cells of the blockMesh. The mesh has 137423 cells. I can see the mesh in paraView.

Any idea?

did you move the mesh from tim
 

did you move the mesh from time step 3 to the constant folder? if there is a mesh inside the constant folder before (usually the blockMesh-Mesh) of ignores the Meshes in the time step folders 1, 2 and 3.
