Rene is on a distinguished road
Dear all,

i have a question regarding snappyHexMesh. It works quite well so far but i have a problem when i try to mesh a halfmodel with a symmetryplane and boundary layers.

What happens is, that the boundary layer stopps before reaching the symmetry plane. Is there any option or trick to use that the BL does not stop there? Please see picture attached (green is the symmetryPlane, grey is a simple halfsphere).

Thanks,

René

wolle1982 will become famous soon enough
No chance! There will always be this problem near symmetryPlanes. Wait until next sHM version is out. They fixed a whole bunch of problems.
