Internal zero thickness walls

Hello all,

Would anyone know of a good tutorial or thread that addresses the following issue?
So far I have found these but the solution is not clear to me:

http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...tml#post332307

http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...blockmesh.html

http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/ope...nal-faces.html

My mesh is generated by blockMesh, however when I try to define an internal face as a wall or patch in blockMeshDict I get the error:

--> FOAM FATAL ERROR:
Trying to specify a boundary face 4(151 153 15 13) on the face on cell 76 which is either an internal face or already belongs to some other patch. This is face 0 of patch 3 named internalWalls.

I would like to create a 0 thickness wall. This face is between two meshed blocks. The 4 vertices that make up the face (151 153 15 13) are used to define both blocks and are not duplicated. Is there a general method for defining 0 thickness internal walls?

I am working with OpenFoam 2.1.1

Thanks for your advice.

UPDATE:

Solved by duplicating existing points on internal face and incorporating into hex blocks.
Runs stable.
