Hi foamers,

I have a big problem for creating sliding interface for engine simulation.I created the mesh by using GAMBIT several times and unfortunately I couldn't succeed to run the case.I have an error :
Code:
Starting time loop

Courant Number mean: 0 max: 0 velocity magnitude: 0
deltaT = 5.55556e-05
Crank angle = 0.5 CA-deg
CG: Solving for motionUx, Initial residual = 0, Final residual = 0, No Iterations 0
CG: Solving for motionUy, Initial residual = 0, Final residual = 0, No Iterations 0
CG: Solving for motionUz, Initial residual = 0.300902, Final residual = 0.000253697, No Iterations 57
CG: Solving for motionUx, Initial residual = 0, Final residual = 0, No Iterations 0
CG: Solving for motionUy, Initial residual = 0, Final residual = 0, No Iterations 0
CG: Solving for motionUz, Initial residual = 0.000128037, Final residual = 1.20295e-07, No Iterations 66
Volume: new = 1.48807e-05 old = 1.48706e-05 change = 1.00444e-08
Motion continuity errors : sum local = 2.23621e-15, maximum = 3.88355e-14
Floating point exception (core dumped)
I know this error comes from setting the sliding interface and I think GAMBIT can't create a good mesh for using sliding interface!!!
Do you know any meshers that can create a good mesh for using sliding interface?

I appreciate your help.
Thanks and best regards,
Sasan.

Can you run the checkMesh utility on your converted mesh? It might give some clues. What does it say?
