Radial sweep mesh via OpenFOAM or other free tool?
2 Attachment(s)
Hi everybody,
I have a ccm-mesh of a case somebody once calculated via STAR-CCM+ and I want to validate the solutions with OpenFOAM. Unfortunately there are several errors checkMesh gives back (after import via ccm26ToFoam) so I made a new geometry that I need to remesh now. My problem is that I don't know how to create a nice HEX-mesh as the old one, swept/extruded and radially disposed. I need to do this with open source/free tools such as blockmesh, snappyhexmesh, gmsh etc. My geometry is a seventh of a tube with an axial fan in the middle I want to rotate via MRF. Does anybody know how to start or which tools might be useful to achieve such a mesh as the old one? Please see the attachments for pictures. Best regards, Frank Ubber |
