Dear all,

i want to simulate the flow through a system consisnting of two sveral pipes. Therefore, i created a mesh of a small part of the geometry with ICEM. For pictures, please see this tread:

Within my research, i found a tool in OpenFOAM called mirrorMesh, which seems to be suitable for answering my question. If i understand it correctly, mirrorMesh just mirrors the mesh, therfore i need to different folders for the original (non-mirrored) and the mirrored-mesh. After this, i think have to use mergeMesh in order to merge the two meshes.

Is this procedure correct or is there any procedure which is able to mirror the mesh and removing duplicate surfaces at the same time? Do you have any smarter solution?
