[mesh manipulation] mergeMeshes and stitchMesh in parallel?

Dear all,

are the 2 commands mergeMeshes and stitchMesh usable in parallel?

Hi,

as far as I know both programs are not able to run in parallel. When entering

Code:

mergeMeshes -help

or

Code:

stitchMesh -help

they're not showing an option named '-parallel'.

Both operations intuitively seem to be pretty hard to do in parallel. Think of two threads altering a mesh within the same region at the same time. This is going to be a mess unless at lot of synchronization is done...
