Is there any way to export directly from gmsh to fluent? I know I could convert to foam then fluent, but it is not as convenient.

when you mesh the geometry, go to save as, then under the format options save your file as a Nastran Bulk Data File (I haven't used a file extension like msh or any other one), then in FLUENT, you go to File->Import-> NASTRAN->bulk data file.
Hope this helps. Unfortunately, i'm having issues with setting the boundaries, is telling me it is having problems with separating zones or something like that. let me know if you run into any issues. Miguel |

Thanks Miguel,
You solved myproblem. Now I will solve your one) After you got mesh in ANSYS FLUENT, export it as .cas file import in in HyperWorks organize the boundary conditions there. export it as .msh start your simulationsin ANSYS FLUENT. |
