Hey everyone,
first of all I want to say hello since I've always been a quiet reader but now I need some help. I have a .msh meshfile of a burner-geometry that was exported via ICEM. I converted the file with fluent3DMeshToFoam. Problem is that the mesh contains 2 internal patches which I would like to handle as "non existent" because they simply would block the flow - if defined as "solid" - as they seperate the fluid-domain. I've simply tried to delete the two entrys fom the constant/polyMesh/boundary but surprisingly that's not working I've also read about createBaffles but this seems to create internal Faces instead of "deleting" them. My question is: Is there a more or less simple way to to get rid of those patches? Thanks in advance and have a nice day! Tim |
