Hi,
Can the solver "engineFoam' work with layer addition and removal? I run the example and seen when the piston moving up, all mesh seem to be small but did not eliminated. I see FOAM have layerAdditionRemoval class in SAE paper. I think FOAM is very powerful code, it have many utilities, but the problem is user do not know how to use it. |

Dear Chalothon Thumtae,
the standard engineFoam code has no layer addition and removal built-in. (In-house we have various bits and pieces working regarding mesh topology - v.s. just geometry - changes but are still actively developing this aspect of Foam) If you require specialist help you can always approach us for commercial support. Regards, Mattijs |
