hexa vs hybrid mesh convergence

Hello everyone,
I ran two simple cases (flow in rectangular tube with rhoPimpleFoam, like angledDuct tutorial). The first case with a hex mesh and other case with hybrid mesh (tetra + prism). I obtained a fast convergence with the first case, but with the hybrid mesh i did not obtained success yet. I would like to know what the best practices for setup tetra-prism mesh case or still, if there is any tutorial for these cases (hybrid mesh). Thank you for your help, Aluisio Viais Pantalećo |
