SettlingFoam: Cell-centered or Cell-vertex with SnappyHexMesh

My question is:
Does OpenFoam uses a cell-centred or cell-vertex scheme for 3D mesh computational problems in SettlingFoam when the mesh is made with SnappyHexmesh?
So are the control volumes identical with the grid cells or are overlapping control volumes used?
