6th OpenFOAM Workshop

The website for the 6th OpenFOAM Workshop (http://www.openfoamworkshop.org) is now fully functional. You can submit abstracts (deadline of March 15) and register (deadline of May 1).

We will have a unique training experience this year with the first OpenFOAM University. The curriculum will include 16 courses taught by instructors from around the world.

We look forward to seeing everyone at Penn State this summer!

Dear Professor Paterson,

I missed the 6th workshop, but would like to read the slides and use the materials of the training session. I know I can download individual files here: http://www.openfoamworkshop.org/6th_...am/Program.htm.

Is there a way to download them all at once? Maybe there is some place where I can download the contents of the stick?

Hi,
you can download the image made for the workshop

http://rcc.its.psu.edu/ofw6/ofw6_v8.iso

maybe you can post here how you make a usb-stick from that image, or maybe you have to burn image and make usb-stick from the booted dvd-image.

like the gothenburg release there are scripts to update/copy workshop presentations if i am not wrong.

Hi,

install "unetbootin", it's really simple to burn live USBs with this app. I think it runs on Winblows as well. :D Just choose the ISO image and the usb to burn to. When it gets to 49% it will hang for a while (a few minutes), just let it be, it takes a while to burn the data.

Be careful not to choose your HDD or another USB device.

Tomislav
