hi @ all,

simple question. I would like to create a Slice through a domain.
The only problem I have is that the Slice is cutting the Elements into small peaces. I would like to show the whole Elements which where cut by the Slice.

Any Idea?

Thanks a lot
Dito

Hi Dito,

You could use the extractSelection filter in ParaView.

You select the cells of interest and then extract that selection as described here

Best regards,
Philip

Hi zaynah04,

if you describe the steps you have taken in detail then it may be possible to find the problem.

The above procedure works fine for me,
additionally in the latest ParaView (version 3.98) you can use the "slice" filter and turn on the "Crinkle slice" option.

Philip
