Hi all,

I always load my OpenFOAM case with "paraview" and then load the file *.foam in the case dir.

I get the following error:
Code:
created temporary 'Sandia_COH2N2.OpenFOAM'
shor-ty@cfd:~/OpenFOAM/shor-ty-2.2.x/run/Sandia_COH2N2$ paraview paraview.foam
Warning: In /home/shor-ty/OpenFOAM/ThirdParty-2.2.x/ParaView-3.12.0/VTK/IO/vtkOpenFOAMReader.cxx, line 4414
vtkOpenFOAMReaderPrivate (0x233b790): Different time directories with the same time value 0.005 and 0 found. 0 will be ignored.
So the timestep 0 is ignored.
Does anyone know how to resolve the problem?
WIth paraFoam everything is working fine.

Thanks in advance,
Tobi

Hi Tobi,

Mmmm... then the only thing that comes to mind is that there might be a conflict of "." vs ",".
Try the following command, before running paraview:
Code:
export LC_ALL=C
Another detail is that in the reader controls, on the lower left part, there is an option for reading time snapshots based on the time configuration that is in "controlDict".

Best regards,
Bruno

Bruno - its working.

I made an Ubuntu update two days ago. Since that date this error occurs.
Now I set your export variable to my bash_rc file and everything is working again.

Thanks.
Tobi
