Cp plot on foil along section

Hello,

How can I do that?
Typical aerofoil section in 3D; i d like to extract pressure along a section and plot it.

Anything better than having to export to ensight?

Thanks,

Nicolas

I also need to plot pressure along an airfoil surface. What I tried are:

- Use "cut" utility under "Filter" submenu to extract he intersection of the foil and z = 0 plane
- Use "Append datasets" (I'm not sure whether I need this step)
- Then , use "Probe" to plot the surface quantities I want.

When I did all this, the x-y plot shows zero pressure. What did I do wrong? What does the x-aixs rerepsent? I want to make it x-coordinate of the point on the curve.

plot over a line is very simple in paraFoam.

ploting pressure along airfoil surface is best done with the "sample"-Tool.
