Hi everyone,

thanks in advance for any kinds of help.

Here's my small pb: when i want to visualize my mesh using Paraview, it links automatically in triangular mode the vertices (2D) whereas i would prefer staggered grid.

It s ok on the border of the domain (see picture) but not if i create a slice inside the domain. I can't find the appropriate option. The mesh is cartesian and uniform.

Hi

try to use the filter 'extract cells by region' instead of 'slice' to create your slice.

Hi Daniela,

This could be alsmot awesome if i could extract only the plane i chose instead of half a volume (check the pict). I tried to create it directly from a slice but it didn't work out. If you have any idea ...

Thanks a lot in advance

In addition to what Daniela suggested, on the 'extract cell by region' panel, select both 'extract on intersected' and 'extract intersected'.

Great, thanks a lot Ertan ! I chose last time one of those 2 options independently from the other one without success!

Thanks Daniela too
