ParaFoam out of date libraries

Hello,

I have created a mesh within Fluent, successfully transposed it into OF 1.5. I have then run potentialFoam and simpleFoam, and I was able to correctly view the results within paraFoam. Then, I ran the solver oodles on the same case, using the latest results from simpleFoam; the computation is running ok, but it is impossible to open the case within paraFoam. I have to precise that in all computations, there are 8 partitions.

After launching paraFoam, I can select the regions and fields to be loaded, then after quite a long time ParaView crashes. The exact error message is:

new cannot satisfy memory request.
This does not necessarily mean you have run out of memory. It could be due to a stack violation caused by e.g. bad use of pointers or an out of date library.

Do someone have an idea about what is going on ? I always do the post-processing on the same machine, with no other task in the background. I admit that the model is large (8 million hexa cells), but since paraFoam was able to load the simpleFoam and potentialFoam cases I do not understand why the oodles cases causes problems.

Thanks
mélanie

Hello, Actually by converti

Hello,

Actually by converting the case to VTK I am able to load it with Paraview 3.3.0 (on the same machine)... I don't know what is causing the bug, does anyone have an idea ? Anyway I can go on working now !
