Hi,
I have to plot data x metres above a curved surface. To do this I would like to either create an isosurface on distance from the curved surface and then display the data on it, or better, transform a copy of the curved surface x metres and then display data on it.
However, I have not managed to plot coordinate values at all, even if geometric data have to be available for the mesh.
Does one have to create a volScalar field with coordinate values to be able to operate on them, or is there any other way?

Thanks
David

Compile and run this on your case:

wallDistance.tgz

It will create a wall distance field and write it to your current time directory.
