Hello, I am working with the interFoam solver to simulate the liquid flow following the rupture of a tank. Now I have to compute the volume of liquid contained in a definite region. For that, I use the 'integrate variables' filter from paraview in order to integrate the gamma field in that region. This methods works well on a thetrahedral mesh, but it fails when applied on a polyhedral mesh. Indeed, I used the 'polyDualMesh' utility to convert the initial thetrahedral mesh into its vertex-based dual mesh, and the 'integrate variables' filters returns an absurd volume (moreover this volume is negative !). This problem arises with the paraview version 3.4 and 3.6. Does anybody know what is the method to get the correct volume on this kind of mesh ? I thank you for your attention.
