Dear community,
first I'd like to say hello to all of you. I'm a well experienced fluent - user but I'd like to give OpenFoam a go. I have a little problem with paraView by doing the icoFoam cavity tutorial (user guide chapter 2.1). I did the steps 2.1.1 - 2.1.3 as described in the guide. Everything worked fine. Now I'd like to look the results by the post-processor (paraView). I did all the steps described under 2.1.4 but my display panel didn't change to the view showed in fig. 2.4 of the tutorial. It is still in the stage of fig. 2.3. Does anyone has an advice for me what I do wrong? I tried to reload paraView as well as I refreshed the times … . Nothing works. A few facts to my Installation: I'm running openFoam on Ubuntu Linux(64) 11.10 in a virtualBox on a Win7(64) host. The 3D acceleration was once disabled and once enabled but the problem is still the same. |
